The Jessy Terrero-directed visual, which opens with “Pa’ Ti,” shows Lopez as a billionaire, who is under investigation for shady business deals, living a lavish life and Maluma turning up as her bodyguard. It later reveals Maluma is working undercover.

As the first part ends, the “Lonely” clip picks up, showing the two stars in bed and FBI raiding Lopez’s mansion and taking her into custody.

“You’re saying that you’re feeling lonely/But you fucked up, baby. I’m sorry,” she sings on the uptempo ballad. “I’m doing so much better without you/Just kill your ego, before it kills you.”

“I don’t care that you feel lonely/ I’m better off without you, I’m sorry/ Who is going to treat you like I did/ You hurt my ego by not knowing how to love,” they sing in the chorus.

Jon Leone and Édgar Barrera produced the singles co-written by Lopez and Maluma. Lopez called the way the two tracks worked together “amazing.”

“When you know the appetizer is good, wait until the main course,” Maluma added. He also promised a performance of the song with Lopez when things are safe after the coronavirus pandemic. “We’re going to sing the two songs like one.”

Marry Me, which also stars Owen Wilson, arrives in theaters on February 12th.

Bebe Rexha Joins Alicia Keys On ‘Gramercy Park’ For ‘The Late Late Show’

Bebe Rexha teamed up with Alicia Keys to perform “Gramercy Park” on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” drive-in concert at Television City on Wednesday (September 23).

“Gramercy Park” is a track from Keys’ album ALICIA, and it takes one on a trip down memory lane that shows the singer finding her true self.

“Sometimes you lose yourself. Here’s to finding yourself again,” she said while playing the beginning piano chords of the ballad.

Rexha joined in the second verse and then harmonized and hummed along with Keys.

Bebe penned a nice note as a thank you to Keys, who thanked her in return and wrote, “Had my sis @beberexha join me last night for a special performance of #GramercyPark from my new album ALICIA. Magic.”

“Soo amazing singing with you,” Bebe quickly responded.

Marvin Gaye’s ‘What’s Going On’ Takes Over Top Spot On Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums List

Rolling Stone has published its updated list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

Marvin Gaye‘s What’s Going On beat out The BeatlesSgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band to take over the top spot.

The American singer-songwriter’s 1971 masterpiece began as a reaction to police brutality, and after half a century, it persists as a timely backdrop to another heated summer.

It is followed by The Beach Boys‘ 1966 album Pet Sounds and Joni Mitchell‘s Blue, released in 1971.

Stevie Wonder‘s Songs in the Key of Life, The Beatles’ Abbey Road and Bob Dylan‘s Blood on the Tracks also find a place in the top 10.

The new 500 list is “less rock-centric,” according to the magazine.

154 albums are new to the 500, and 86 albums from the 21st Century made the list.

“One distinction from the old list is the idea that there’s not one objective history of popular music,” said Rolling Stone‘s Reviews Editor, Jon Dolan.

Lauryn Hill‘s “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” came in at Number 10, it was #312.

Mariah Carey Shares Cover Of ‘Out Here On My Own’ From ‘Fame’

Mariah Carey has shared a cover of the song “Out Here On My Own” from the movie Fame.

The R&B singer recently shared with her fans the impact that Irena Cara has had on her career, especially in the early days of her career; “I lived for the movie Fame, and Irene Cara was everything to me,” read an excerpt from Carey’s forthcoming memoir, titled “The Meaning of Mariah.”

“From the depths of the vault… Stream now!!!” she wrote alongside the link to stream the new song, which will be included in the upcoming Rarities collection.

The excerpt also went on to reveal that Carey first covered the song at a talent competition held in her hometown; “The fact that I believed I could become a successful artist is one of my greatest strengths,” it read.

“Around the same time, my mother entered me in a talent competition in the city, and I sang one of my favorite songs, ‘Out Here on My Own,” by Irene Cara. I felt ‘Out Here on My Own’ described my entire life, and I loved singing that way — singing to reveal a piece of my soul. And I won doing it. At that age.”

Alicia Keys Reveals How ‘Verzuz’ Battle Inspired Her To Recruit Jill Scott For New Album

Alicia Keys has revealed that the “Verzuz” battle between Jill Scott and Erykah Badu inspired her to recruit Scott for her upcoming album Alicia.

In an interview with Apple Music‘s Zane Lowe, Keys revealed that her “personal favorite” battle was between neo-soul titans Scott and Badu.

“I’m bugging like crazy. I’m driving home from wherever, and I’m listening to the thing through the car. I mean, I’m fan-girling out all the way. I’m singing every word,” Keys recalled of the first all-female battle back in May.

Keys revealed she got a phone call from Scott after the “Verzuz” battle that led to the two singers agreeing to work together.

“And I’m like, ‘Why haven’t we worked together? Why haven’t we? This is crazy!’ And so she’s like, ‘I know, and I hope to come, and let’s connect.’ And I said, ‘Yes, let’s connect,” she explained.

Keys said she was later “pretending to be Jill Scott” on a song for her upcoming album that she would subsequently send to her fellow R&B songstress.

“She’s like, ‘Okay. You want me to do it?’ She did it. Went out of her way, sorted it out, sent it back, called me like, ‘You know, what you did was so cool. I was thinking, maybe I’ll just do a few backgrounds.’ I said, ‘No, no, no, no, no, no. No. What I did was pretended to be you. I need you to be you.’ And she was like, ‘Okay.’ Came back, killed it, as per normal,” Keys said.

According to Keys, the song will be titled, “Jill Scott,” featuring Scott. Alicia, Keys’ seventh studio album, will drop on Friday, September 18. The album has been delayed several times due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Verzuz” was launched Timbaland and Key’s husband Swizz Beatz during the lockdown period. The program started out as a 20-song showdown between producers and now sees rappers and performers battling it out, taking turns playing a song from a list of 20 tracks from across their catalog.

Past matchups have included Brandy vs. Monica, Rick Ross vs. 2 Chainz, and Snoop Dogg vs. DMX, among others. Keys previously went head-to-head in a battle of the pianos against John Legend for Juneteenth.

The crown worn by THE NOTORIOUS B.I.G. in his last photoshoot sold for more than $594,000 at an auction Tuesday night.

The crown worn by THE NOTORIOUS B.I.G. in his last photoshoot sold for more than $594,000 at an auction Tuesday night.  That’s a HUGE markup.

The photographer who originally bought it for the shoot says, quote, “This crown is a novelty item;  I bought it at a place on Broadway called Gordon’s.  Without Biggie, the crown would not be worth [six figures]. I only paid six bucks for it.”

Speaking of overpriced Hip-Hop memorabilia, remember those Chicken McNugget pillows TRAVIS SCOTT was selling to go along with his special McDonald’s meal?  They originally cost 90 bucks, which is already pretty pricy.

But, they sold out and now people are trying to resell them for as much as $450.  You might not want to jump on that, though . . . because they’re probably making more.

Other items from the collection included $290 denim shorts and a $40 “Smile clutch” (which is just a Happy Meal box with a special print on it).

Cardi B has filed for Divorce from Offset

CARDI B is divorcing OFFSET after almost three years of marriage.  In her petition she says there are, quote, “no prospects for a reconciliation.”

Cardi is seeking full legal and primary physical custody of their 2-year-old daughter Kulture.  She also wants “an equitable division of all marital assets”. Which makes sense because there’s no prenup.

Not surprisingly, there are rumors that Offset was cheating . . . again.  He got caught back in 2018, but Cardi took him back that time.
